FAQs
WhO is Volant Vivere?
We are Northern California's premium provider of high-quality, low-volume track day experiences. Our unique events offer an elevated and exclusive approach to your time on the track.
Why ride with us?
We believe in doing things differently by prioritizing the rider experience over profit. Our mission is to deliver a premium, stress-free track day experience where every customer is treated like a VIP.
To achieve this, we provide the most comprehensive turnkey amenities, including in-pit tech inspections, free professional photos, catered lunches, garages where available, and MotoAmerica-level coaching. Every detail is designed to ensure your day on the track is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.
Our events are tailored for quality over quantity. Large events feature just two rider groups (A/B) with 30-minute sessions, while our intimate events are limited to 20 riders and offer fully open track access. These thoughtfully designed formats maximize track time and eliminate the chaos often associated with track days, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment both on and off the track.
We are committed to helping you make the most of your time on the track. With 30-minute sessions, you will have ample opportunity for adjustments and fine-tuning. And if an incident occurs, our team will retrieve you and your bike promptly to get you back on track without delay—no wasting hours waiting for recovery.
What gear do I need to bring?
We require the same level of gear as any other provider.
A full-face helmet that is DOT, ECE*, SNELL*, or FIM* certified, within its expiration date, and free from any visible damage
A 1-piece* or zip-up 2-piece suit designed specifically for track use, made of leather or specialty vegan textile (such as options from Bison or Virus)
Race boots that fully cover the ankles
Gauntlet-style racing gloves that extend over the wrists
While not required, back protectors and/or airbags are highly recommended
*Recommended options
If you are unsure whether your gear meets these standards, or would simply like suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@volantvivere.com. We would be happy to help and provide you with peace of mind.
What bike prep do I need to do?
Disconnect or tape up indicators and tail lights. If using tape, ensure complete coverage when the light is activated, with no shine-through or gaps
Remove or tape mirrors
Verify that you have sufficient brake pad material and fresh brake fluid
Ensure tires have sufficient tread (above wear bar) with correct pressures for that specific tire model and size
Confirm that all moving mechanisms are interference-free
Ensure that there are no leaks of any kind (engine oil, fork oil, coolant, brake fluid)
Headlights do not need to be disconnected or taped
If you have any concerns about your motorcycle passing tech inspection, we encourage you to reach out to us at info@volantvivere.com in advance. We are here to help make your track day as smooth and enjoyable as possible!
What are in-pit tech inspections?
Our in-pit tech inspections are designed for your convenience and to enhance your VIP experience. Rather than requiring you to bring your bike(s) to a registration area, we come directly to your pit to handle everything for you.
Tech inspections typically begin at 7:00 AM and continue until the mandatory rider’s meeting. When available, we offer tech inspections the night before within a specific time frame. Please stay near your bike(s) so we can provide any necessary feedback or address any issues promptly. We will make multiple passes to ensure everyone is covered, but if we miss you, please come by our staff area.
Here’s what the process includes:
Confirming your registration and verifying the completion of the Liability Waiver form
Completing of a functional inspection of your motorcycle(s)
Application of a group sticker to your bike(s)
Distribution of raffle tickets
This streamlined approach saves you time and effort, allowing you to sip your coffee and focus on getting ready for the day.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
We ride rain or shine. Refunds are generally not issued, except under special circumstances.
If you are unable to attend an event you have already paid for, we will do our best to help backfill your spot. Please note that all transfers must be authorized and approved by VV staff to ensure a smooth process.
Please contact us at info@volantvivere.com with any questions.
